About Our Vermont Assisted Living Community
Families across Vermont choose The Converse Home not only for the services we provide, but for the warmth and belonging they feel the moment they walk through our doors.
A Legacy of Personalized Assisted Living and Memory Care
The Converse Home is a private, non-profit assisted living community in Burlington, Vermont with a history dating back to 1886. Rooted in warmth, dignity, and personalized care, we’ve created a welcoming home for older adults for well over a century.
Our historic campus features modern one-bedroom and studio apartments, designed for comfort, safety, and independence. For residents living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, our dedicated memory care Community —Gardenview—provides secure, specialized support in a calming and thoughtfully designed setting.
